Your landscaping crew installed a rather complex water feature in my backyard. I was rather apprehensive as I am very particular about my yard and surroundings, and I do not like anything that looks artificial. I had been considering the installation of a water feature for some time, but had not liked the artificial look to most of the ponds I had seen. Washington Ponds was referred to me by Monroe Stone as someone who was especially talented in this area.

I am extremely happy with the design and installation that you did. My water feature has two ponds, a connecting stream, two waterfalls, a stone bridge, and two large columns in one of the ponds with water gushing from one of them. The liner is completely invisible and it is constructed so that the water trickles through the streambed. It is simply beautiful. Your design ideas were terrific and the entire pond looks natural and greatly compliments and enhances my back yard. You also furnished a number of water plants that are both unusual and beautiful.

In addition, I was highly impressed with the crew. They were very nice quiet, polite, and cleaned up the whole yard before they left. They were professional and attentive to details. My yard looked better when they left that when they arrived. The entire crew attempted, to the extent possible, to minimize the impact of their pond installation on my yard.

I wish to take the time to tell you how pleased Sally and I are with the wonderful work you and your fine crew did with the renovation of our "back forty". We started with a rough sketch that you came up with and little else. What do they say about the greatest ideas starting out on the back of napkins? Well, another case to confirm this! Not knowing exactly where we wanted to go with the area, we fortunately let you just go ahead and create. And what a great job you did!

The plantings are unique and beautiful. And the main course, the waterfall, is as good as it gets. I admit to being skeptical about the site but as it progressed I could see what you were about. It is the centerpiece of the yard and a "wow" to all who see it. I am constantly asked when I am going to stock it with koi. My response? "It's already stocked with chlorine! That's enough".

Neil and I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for all the hard work you and your workers did at our home. Washington Ponds Landscaping recently completed a large makeover of our front yard, improving significantly, the street appeal of our home.
